I just find it funny that I’m having a c section Tuesday and my doctor has never seen my downstairs area... I transferred to him when I was like 18 weeks and he has never done any examination down there or anything.... just seems weird to me🤷🏽♀️

Yes that is weird. You need to talk to him about this, he can't force you to have a c section if there is no need.

That being said it’s pretty common unless they meed preform your routine Pap test then a lot of OBGYNs feel no reason to venture south unless necessary. My OBGYN who performs my csection will ask me if I want to be checked for dilation nearer to my scheduled csection date...but my pap was done in May so no need for anything else at this point!

I went to a hospital that only gave me that option and funny thing at my normal hospital they said I can deliver natural even early and c section only if there’s a problem

My dr never saw me down there until I was having contractions at 38 weeks to see how dilated i was. But before that nope and I had the dr when i found out.
