@journeyofbabbles, well we have a place here called smileland dental for kids and they put her under regular local anesthesia since it was just one and she did ok. But in some places they will put the kids to sleep.
It was last August and they put him under and took care of it and he also had a cap put on and was supposed to have a few more caps put on but they ended up pulling some of his teeth instead. He came home a few hours later. He was breastfeed until last June so he would wake up and nurse like 5 to 9 times a night sometimes so they said it was from the milk sitting on his teeth at night even though I brushed his teeth.
How old is your son? How did he act with the recovery? My son has four cavities and they also said it's because he nurses throughout the night. We got Silver Diamine Fluoride put on them.
He was 2 1/2 years old and he did very well with recovery. It was so much better then I thought it was going to be. His problems were on his left side top and his 4 front teeth he is 2 years and 9 months now
@tristan-makes-5 I'm also blaming myself! It's crazy how fast cavities form no matter how many times you brush their teeth. I would be lying if I said I haven't cried a few times myself since my sons appointment 😂
@momma_of_1 That's really neat that they do local anesthesia. My sons dentist said if we wanted to go the route of surgery we would have to do the IV and we weren't for that. Did they put a cap on her tooth?

It is I felt so bad and blamed myself for almost 3 weeks after his appointment. Every time I saw where his missing teeth were I would start crying

No they didn’t because it is her baby teeth. And it was in the front ones
