Anyone had a sweep at 37 weeks? I am 37+4 and tempted to book one for this weekend but just wondering if this has worked for anyone? Very much want to just go into labour now!
With my second baby I had a sweep at 40+4 and I’d delivered within 7 hours but I know being overdue may have contributed to that. #myfirstpost

I am in private healthcare so can book one as long as I’m past 37 weeks... I did with both my other children but waited until I was overdue 🤔

I did and didn’t give birth until 41 weeks. I think it literally is a case of if the baby’s ready, it will come. My midwife did tell me this but mentally I was so done I needed it just to keep going. I had a private midwife by the way which is why I was able to have it (I am based in the uk)

I had 4...none of them worked. Just be patient and baby will come when it’s ready!
