Any of you moms on here have/had derealization brought on during pregnancy? Its kinda hard to explain but i feel like at times im in a dream like state. I do take lexapro for depression/anxiety, just never had this before. It makes me scared being in a dream like state, its almost like i know what im doing but at the same time i dont.

Yes, I'm hoping it is a part of pregnancy and will go away. Recently I've had the weird feeling of not recognizing me whenever I look in the mirror, like I'm not there or it's just not me looking back. Can't tell what it is.

When it happens can you move? If not I’d talk to your doctor because I use to have that and it was absent seizures due to medicine

Yes i am able to move. It doesnt prevent me from moving or anything

Yes! I already have PTSD which triggers my depression. Right now I'm just in a slump. I had to force myself to pack and when I started I couldn't focus and felt overwhelmed. 😣 I literally sat there staring at the bags and clothes/items with this feeling like I was somewhere else. I can't take any meds and I'm already high risk. I have 3 weeks til I will have this baby or sooner. I thought it was just me and my anxiety 😞
