My daughter and I are vegetarian and all she’s had since she started solids was veggies and beans and rice, etc. I just avoid exposing her to junk but the grandparents make it so hard 😒

When my LO was that age I offered a variety of veggies and if he didn’t like something for a while he’d eventually come around to it. Just offer it with every meal and don’t try to force them to eat it or bribe them (so they don’t associate vegetables as negative or something they have to choke down in order to get a treat), and if you watch they’ll try it on their own. I found it easiest to give him cold veggies with ranch or hummus, toddlers love to dunk things in dips. Lol. I also would make veggie “tots” with quinoa and veggies, and they even sell pretty convincing cauliflower tots at the store which are yummy. I sneak veggies in things, whether it’s veggie pasta, adding broccoli to Mac and cheese, making “milkshakes” with banana, cocoa powder, yogurt and fresh spinach. There are creative ideas on Pinterest too, that’s where I got all my ideas. Now kiddo requests salads for dinner or will help himself to veggies in the fridge as a snack. It takes time, patience and creativity but your little man will get there!
