Me and my bf weren’t trying. But we weren’t preventing either. We decided if it happened it happened and it was meant to be. If it didn’t then it wasn’t the right time.
When I told my OB that we weren’t trying but not preventing she quickly said if youre not preventing then you are in fact trying. I was like ooookkkkk lol She must get that a lot!
@massmomma16 we stopped preventing about 6 months before we started actually trying, but we were like if we have one, its ment to be, but we stopped trying for her about 1 month or so and that's when we found out she was on her way..
This was accurate for us, but we STOPPED preventing with the intent that if it happens, it happens. To me that means we were trying, at least on some level.
But as a general statement I think it's false. Someone could be uneducated, or drunk, or just not have good sense and have unprotected sex. In those cases, they aren't trying to conceive - just careless.

It’s a toss up. You could not be preventing. But also not trying. Just letting things happen as they happen.

Dumb. Assumptions make people sound/look stupid. If youre not preventing you're conscious of possibilities.

I think it's all trying but more effort is put in than others. For the most part ends in the same result
