I used to live on 3rd floor. I moved a few months ago scared but the same thing. I can’t imagine living there now. Some things help though, there grocery delivery I use Instacart and you can get diapers like that if there’s no ones to help.

Girl stairs are HARD after a c section I had my dad carry me when I first got home 😂 they usually don’t let babies in the recovery rooms, only during daytime. So I would check on that before you go. The only reason they let my 5m sister in the room during the day was cause my mom was with her at all times. Hopefully you can find someone to help you mamas, especially with a c section 💕 You’re gonna need it. Do you have any family members to help you?

Stairs are hard but doable just take your time.

And as far as your son staying at the hospital I don't know. You should call the hospital and check

I live in a two story house with 16 stairs in order to get to the second story. This would be my third c-section. It might be hard the first day or two but definitely doable. Have someone carry baby up and down for you until you feel comfortable enough. Make sure you go at your own pace and don’t push yourself to hard or too fast. Sorry I’m not much help! Good luck mama!

I have a 3 story house and the first day home I didn’t mess with the stairs the showers are on the top floor so I just took a shower before leaving the hospital. It wasn’t too bad going up and down the stairs which I’ve been doing for the past 3 or so days frequently. You should be alright if you just take it easy & move slow at first.

I have stairs in my home. I put everything I will need in downstairs so the only reason I’m going up and down is for necessary reasons. Showering/changing, etc.

Your son should be able to stay with you. My daughter stayed the whole 3 days after my c section my sister just stayed in the lobby while I went back and then she stayed with us. If my husband left he had to take her with him tho just in case something went wrong and I had to go back into surgery. She bonded so much staying at the hospital. Btw I didn’t ask them I just did it.

@dinamarie1995 I'm gonna do that only because I have nobody or even around to watch my son and not even that I don't trust anyone. And my son is so attached to my hip I think it be better if he stayed with us. My husband will be there so.

@dinamarie1995 yea I'm having a lot of questions from my mother in law. Love her but I see how she is with her kids and I don't agree on a lot of stuff. And her youngest son is mean to my baby and he's 14 and my son is about to be one. I'm just gonna go with my first plan and do it! Thank you for your amazing advice!!!!!!! So helpful

My room is downstairs in my house, the day after my csection i walked them. It hurts, but doable. The hospital just told me to hold on to the railing and take it one step at a time very slowly.
