I’m that mom that washes everything before baby uses !! Just washed the cloth on my babies bouncer and swing even though it’s brand new !! I feel like it’s dirty cause I don’t know who all had hands on it before packing so in the wash it must go before I put anything together !!! After this I’m officially done washing , I washed all clothes and blankets and now furniture . We put the bed together last night and tonight we will do the bouncer and swing . I think ima wait until next week when I’m 37 weeks to pack me and the kiddos bags

I do that with everything we buy clothes, underwear especially, towels blankets you name it. Like you said you don't know whose hands have been all over it who tried it on. Where it's been. During the amazing packing shipping storing and stocking process you don't know what chemicals rodents or bugs were on it as well as other people's body funk!!!

People be asking me why am I washing all that stuff if it’s new 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️ and I have to really explain to them that rather it’s new or not people hands be all over it and some more you don’t know what the process is before it’s packed . Like naw I’m washing EVERYTHING lol !!

@nisham90, I washed all newborn and 0-3 months clothes . I didn’t go past that cause my children tend to be small and they don’t go into 3 months anytime soon

@laniejay, exactly !! I can’t tell you how many people just get shit and put shit together and use it and not think anything of it . I gotta wash everything from new clothes to undies everything .
