Does anyone have any positive induction stories? I reeaalllyy don’t want to be induced but my doctor…

I was induced. I was In labor for 37 hours. I tried to go natural no meds ended up getting the Iv Drugs once I reached 7cm I couldn’t handle the pain any longer ended up getting epidural cuz I was stuck at 7cm for the longest. Everything after that went very very smooth. I pushed baby out in 4 pushes.

I was induced with my first two. It went well both times. I was 4cm dilated and completely effaced when they started, so I was able to get the epidural right away.

I had an elective induction 11 years ago without the knowledge that induction could cause complications. It was a cakewalk. No issues, 5 hours from getting hooked up to delivery. GoT the epidural when things became unbearable, which i felt helped my nervous system relax enough to finish dilating and had a baby less than an hour after. I think A LOT of it has to do with your mental energy and attitude towards the situation going in. If you're having bad thoughts your brain will speak that to the rest of your body.

With my last, I was given pitocin because you I stalled at 6 cm. My water broke on it’s own, and with me approaching 16 hours the dr decided I needed a little help. Baby did well. She arrived about 3 hours after intervention and is absolutely perfect.

With my oldest girl I was induced, and all went well. Started pitocin about 930 am and she was born just before 1 pm. She was fine, and I had no residual effects. No epidural, but I did have pain meds. Honestly, the pain meds were worse than the pitocin, as I had adverse reactions to both types. To be fair, my body doesn’t tolerate certain medications and that’s why I got sick.

I was induced on my due date at 1cm and 75% effaced. I started pitocin at 6am and she was born at 6:33 pm. It went great even though I was not progressed very far

I have and I havent had any bad experiences. If it's the first baby they like to come late. Labor went good. Got my pitocin they broke my water which in created my pain. Waited a while before I decided on getting an epidural which allowed me to relax and I knew it was time when I could feel the pressure below. They stopped the epidural drip. And started pushing. I didnt have any issues after. Moved rooms after a couple hours. Its was all good for me. I havent had any issues which I'm am thankful for. Good luck and try not to stress everyones different. Not all are bad.

I was induced a week over due. Everything went very fast. I figured I’d be in labor all day ask for an epidural and it was to late. I delivered my son with in 3 hours. I tore but the healing was great. I’m praying that this delivery goes that well again.

I found out Monday I am going to be induced on Sunday at exactly 40 wks. My mom said her induction wasn't any worse than the ones that weren't but he was also her fourth. So, I asked my aunt, who was also induced and she said it was no different except she had really long labor, 28hrs she just got some pain meds through the IV and was fine.
