Yeah my LO was only 5 pounds at a month old (she was 10 weeks early) and rolled over to her stomach... obviously a big surprise to us all watching but it didn’t last for some reason and she didn’t do it again for a couple months.. But the main thing is making sure they can lift their head up before turning onto their stomachs so that they don’t get stuck and smother themselves on the ground.
Oh okay and yeah I was shocked to find him like that because we was sleeping. I woke up and he's sleeping on his stomach lol he's holding his head up pretty good too already
I didn’t let my daughter sleep on her stomach until she was 8 months old. And even then I was still weird about it until 10 months because she had this horrible habit of facing straight down with her face burrowed in the mattress... she is now almost 14 months and sleeps on her tummy with a blanket but definitely not something I was ok with at 1 month old lol. Too many horror stories.. back is definitely best until they’re one or almost one in my opinion!
@unicorn_mama I meant to say I woke up and he was on his stomach and yes I completely understand. I'm too scared to allow him to sleep like that as well
My daughter did in the hospital. The nurse yelled at me for being on her stomach. I told her I laid her on her back. Then while she was in there, Kynz rolled to her side then her stomach.
She's like I'm sorry I yelled. Most newborns don't roll 😂🤣

It's possible, my 2nd was already trying to roll on her stomach. She never liked to sleep on her back.
She also started lifting her head up around 4 or 5 weeks if I'm not mistaken.

As a newborn yes. She was on side or her belly. Now she prefers sleeping on her side or back.
