I’ve co slept with caleigha since the day she was born. (If you have nothing nice to say I’ll be happy to block you.) I tried putting her in the little plastic bassinet things they give you at the hospital and she screamed and screamed.
Anyway, so she asked me last night to sleep in her own room in her own bed. I told her no just because nothing was ready for it and it was 10pm, but I told her if she still wanted to that she could tonight.
I can’t believe she actually asked. I mean that in the sense that she’s getting so big she’s ready to sleep without mommy. #imgonnacry

@santistevanmommie, I get harassed bout I am gonna have kids sleeping w me until their 20. There is a time when kiddos decide they wanna be big! Them moment when we aren’t ready ourselves though makes us wanna cry!

I hear it a lot, even from close family! I’ve always said that she would let me know when she was ready.
You’re right though I don’t know if I’m ready! 😭😂
I’m just so used to having her to cuddle it’ll be strange to have an empty bed. (Hubby works nights)

I hope she does well too! I have a video monitor that I can talk to her on and I’ll leave my bedroom door open for her to come in so hopefully that helps.
And then he’ll move out of your bed and for a day or two you’ll think it’s great then be like damn I kinda miss him taking all this bed lmao

That’s how old my daughter is too. At first because I thought she’d still be in my bed I wasn’t going to co sleep as much with this one, but if she stays in her bed I’ll most likely co sleep a lot more with this one.

This is exactly how it is with my son and everybody is just like you need to put him in his bed but he hasn't slept alone since day one because he would scream in the hospital until we picked him up. He's now 3 weeks old and perfect
