@jacobsmom21 What are you even talking about?? Where in her post did she say she was making her children pay bills?

My 8 yr old get a disability check and he is supposed to pay 200 a month to us for bills...i find it funny but if the child gets a check then yea they will have to pay

My son started “working” for his great grandma when he was 11 to pay for his own cell phone and he still does it and he’s almost 15. He also pays for extra things he wants with his money. My 11 year old just started doing extra chores to make some money as well but doesn’t quite have the money management skills yet

I had a job at 16 but my dad paid every thing till i was 18 unless i wanted extra things. I actually let my parents borrow money as well and i was able to save for so many things. Had $2,000 when i was 18.

On another note if they want extra things they pay for it. My son will buy snacks with his money sometimes and he hands the money and all. I wont buy bullshit for my kids. He wants a toy before Christmas he finds a way to get it himself
