Gotcha. Learn something new - I'm not boiling it though. My other kids have been fine I'm sure the risk is low and there are other un-stertile things they come in contact with , probably helps build immune system
That’s crazy I didn’t even know the whole formula thing . But it makes sense since you’re having to open it and touch the little scoop which can contaminate things I’m guessing
You can use bottled water, purified water, or nursery water. Cold water from the sink may be safe depending on your water supply. If you have questions definitely talk to your child's doctor.

So your saying the purpose of this is to sterilize the formula, not the water - the water should already be sterilized if it's bottled...right?

I've never ever heard or done it myself. I buy gallon water and use it straight out the bottle. I only boil water if it's coming from the faucet

Powdered formula isn’t sterile, it’s more the formula than the water that needs to be boiled
