I’m old school.. make a pros and cons list. See what cons can be improved upon and if nothing changes you literally know why you aren’t with him.
Sometimes I cannot stand my husband, but then when I look back I can see if was just me being overly emotional lol (not saying that’s the case here)

@kartersmommyy, ugh. That’s a really tough spot momma. I say sit down and talk to him and don’t hold back. Even tell him that you are thinking about leaving if something doesn’t change. Make a compromise.

@kartersmommyy, and if all else fails, you know you can do this. And sometimes you need to do what is right for you. I’m always here if you need to talk.

You can get over regret but never over misery

If I were in this situation and I have been, I’d take moment to ask him if he really wants to be in this relationship.
I’d ask him why he’s still around or what you mean to him.
Usually it gets gears starting in his head that normally wouldn’t start on their own.
Men don’t think like we do.
They aren’t considerate or nurturing naturally and that means we often have to put in the effort to guid them to what we need from them.
It sounds to me like he’s stressed, feeling guilty already and has decided to externalize those emotions instead of internalize them.
He has to know you’re his friend and will just listen. You should find a way to let him know you just want to know how to make this work.
If he’s rude in return, remind him of what you won’t put up with.
You have the power here after all, that baby came out of you, relies on you and nobody can provide anything more than another good role model than you.
He has to come around but definitely resentment can’t be part of the hurt in your voice, only understanding.
If he can see when he’s beating you down, you can tell if he’s a good man and apologizes or feels guilt or is a manipulator who uses your compassion to his advantage.
Either way, figure out what type of man you’re with and make the right choices to either stay or leave.
