I've personally have only told the younger part of the family. My mom called my bi being a phase. My husbands family is extremely religious. His mom I think knows but she's the oldest one that does (if she does, my husband told his brothers about it via Xbox live 🤦)
I'm glad u havnt gotten hate but it's sad they refer to it as a phase. with the holidays coming up and him coming with us to the family events I'm sure there may be some questions and of course eventually there will be a need to tell family and such. Just thinking of way to approach it and handle it so as to not cause any issues. Our families r pretty open for the most part. My mom had an issue at first since I was dating a woman but then she transitioned and is now my husband and our families and friends have all handled it with so much love and support just not sure how they will do with this lol

Not hate my mom just tried claiming its a phase just like being bi but other then that no my family only cares if im happy healthy and safe
