My SO got a raise recently. We are thinking he will be making around $200 dollars more every paycheck. (We won't know for sure until he gets his next check) We got $500 in food stamps before he got his raise. Well they shut off the food stamps completely. Of course right around the holidays too. 🙄 I don't understand how a 200 dollar difference would shut it off completely. They could have lowered the amount we get and took away the 200 extra he's making but now there's 300 dollars we have had worked into our budget that we no longer have and I'm just super stressed about it. 😞

They stopped them before he got his first check with the raise? If so then they were probably going to cut them off regardless.

Normally they ask to take his pay stubs to see how much his making before they cut them off or reduce them. Have you received a letter saying why they cut thek off? They always send a letter

Well I had our 6 month renewal in September and I gave them both of our paystubs and they actually gave me 4 extra dollars in October. I have an app that tells me when they put money on my card and tracks where and how it's spent. It didn't update this month so I called to see what was going on. She said that they got information from his work saying he got a raise and I should have gotten a letter but I never did so she resent it a few days ago and I haven't gotten that one yet either. We still have health insurance through them thank God. We stick to a strict budget so we can put money into savings but now that we don't have that money things are going to be extra tight. We have so much going on for the holidays both my fiance and I have birthdays right before Christmas and the kids both have birthdays right after and it's all hitting at one time. He gets paid this Friday so we are going to see how much his checks actually went up and start a new budget. It's just making me crazy. It took us a long time and a lot of hard work to actually have money to put back and be on track with everything.
