Tomorrow I’ll be by my mom’s side as she finds out whether she is the first ever Democratic congressWOMAN to lead this district (#VA5). A grassroots campaign of thousands has worked tirelessly to give her that chance. I’m just a taaaaad bit emotional about all this. Our country has a chance to respond to Trump’s toxic misogyny with a proactive movement towards integrity and equality. Our anger has turned into determination. Women are demanding to be represented.
