My husband looked at me and said it’s literally your job to take care of our son. So apparently that mean no shower for me been 2 days since I’ve showered. I get out of the shower baby screaming only been 30 min. Apparently I’m not allowed to shower. I don’t see how this is fair.

Is he not a parent also? Asshat.

That’s what I said. He works 60 hr a week but I’m apparently can’t get an hour a day. To do things like shower and workout so I can have energy to care for my very clingy demanding baby.

Aw I’m so sorry to hear that, it doesn’t sound fair at all. Takes two to make a baby!

@dandilioncalalilly .Stand up to your husband is this not his child that he feels he doesn't need to be a father even if he works and you stay at home !

Tell him " your seed help create OUR son, so it's your obligation to take care of him as well"

So, he gets 108 hours off a week and you get zero? Nope, that’s not okay.

I never thought he would ever say or act like this. We had sex today and it was so distant feeling. I already feel like I’m ugly and can’t get anything done. My son has to be glued to me. Or he screams spits up and chokes. So he makes me feel bad I can’t get dishes don’t or forget to put bag in trash can. My response was at least half way done is better than none at all. I can’t even go to the bathroom alone. It’s just so hard. I love my son I’d never give him up. I cherish every moment but I resent my husband. He gets to go to the bathroom alone, sleep without baby, not have hurt boobs, eat with out baby. Go to work listening to music. Shower every day. It’s just not fair. I’m really starting to hate him.

@dandilioncalalilly, I felt that way for a long time too. It’s so hard being a mom, especially with a busy husband. And honestly the only time it got better is when I told him he was going to watch our son so I could go back to work 2 nights a week. I had to essentially force him to step up. Now with two kids he’s great, but it took a long time and a lot of hard work for him to get here. My suggestion is don’t ask. Hand him the baby, tell him you’re going to go shower, do the dishes, whatever you need to do. If he complains, oh well.

@dandilioncalalilly, I’m sorry hun I kno how hard a fussy baby is my son was this way. Could he possibly have some reflux? Have you tried gripe water or magic tea?
