So dr said I’m measuring at 28-29 (can’t remember which one she said) and 31 weeks.. is this normal? She also felt around my tummy and said baby is probably 2 1/2-3 pounds which I feel like is small..

I hate when they estimate weight. I was high risk with my first they told me she would 4/5ish lbs when born. She was 6.6. With my second they said he’d probably be around 8lbs. He was 6.9. 😒

At this point baby will start gaining about .5lb a week (average) mine was 5.5lb at 34. So you should only be .5lb behind me, mine is a little small but as you get further along those guesstimates get more inaccurate as genetics start to kick in. I measure 1-2 weeks behind from week 30 to week 35 then during week 35 she had a growth spurt and since the 36 week appt. I have been measuring right on time. (Also could be a misread for measurement from who measured, I had that last week, then I was remeasured and the first just wasn't measuring from low enough.)

That’s what I thought! I even made a comment about how I never heard of anyone doing that

You’re Doctor sounds like a quack. She should not give weight estimates based on how your uterus “feels”. That is least accurate way to measure anything, especially a baby.
