Momma of boys, when did your little one start going on the potty? What's your best opinion on potty training. I recently just got my son to finally sit on his potty here and there but won't go yet.. he's gonna be 3 in February.

We started at 21/2. Fully potty trained by 3. The biggest thing is to get them out of pull ups/diapers and not gwt frustrated and put them back in them. Once we completely took that crutch away he was golden in a week!

Take him to the potty every couple hours even if he throws a fit. If he has an accident just say thats ok, clean him up and keep going. Put them in real undies abd be prepared to clean up a few messes. They dont like the feeling of going and having it on them so they learn quick.
I cannot stress enough about keeping them out of diapers and pull ups no matter what. if we had realized that sooner we would have been done a lot quicker.

We started at 2.5. He's 3 now and just last week decided he's ready to fully commit. We've been having accident free days! Definitely just introduce it and remind them about it. But don't force it. Forcing it only pushed my son away. He let us know when HE was ready to commit and it has made a world of a difference.
(Everyone says to let them go in their underwear because they hate the feeling. Not true for every kid. My kid doesn't care. 😂😂😂)
