I'm so glad this is my last appt at the fetal Specialists. They get on my last nerve. My appt was at 830am. I was late 849am. I'm never ever late...ever. And the appt never starts at 830am, ever.
They call themselves penalizing me for being late. Talking about they have to fit me in! How! My being 19 mins late didn't through y'all off any! Y'all always 20-60 late yourselves.
I just told them straight up, if y'all are penalizing me let me know now, and I'll go to my regular doc. My child has an appointment at 11am else where, and this is my last appt - I'll go to my regular obGYN!
I have zero tolerance. Working me in, y'all gotta be kidding me, y'all are never on time.
I'm pissed.

In most offices if yout 15 minutes late you will have to completely reschedule so yes it sucks they are always late but they could have made you reschedule and not try to fit you in at all. I was 20 minutes late to you daughter's appointment one time I even called and gave them a heads up and they still made us reschedule and I had to Lyft there so I wasted 40 dollars for nothing

yah, and there's nobody in town who delivers baby's so we have to drive 40 minutes each appointment. So in the first and second trimester I have to go biweekly then weekly for the last trimester. It's a pain in the ass.

I bet, wow. The specialist I go to is pretty far as well and I still see my reg doc. I'm so glad I'm done seeing them.

I hate that shit, like you make me wait an hour plus at every appointment that I’m a few minutes late now y’all acting like I messed up the whole system!! Even if you had been on time you would still of waited the amount of time you were late!!!

I may sound like a witch for saying this, but as someone who has family in the medical field offices do get backed up. Things can happen with other patients and even something could delay the doctors from see you in a timely manner. I once had to wait over an hour for an appointment only to have to reschedule because my doctor was in the OR doing an emergency cesarean section. I didn’t get mad, I just rescheduled and moved on. Policy is unfortunately policy, and I’m sure every office has a specific policy they must follow. Next time you know you are going to be late it is standard procedure to call ahead to inform the receptionist. I’m never late for appointments, but on the off chance I am I make sure to call and they are accommodating.
Just my opinion and personal experience.

I did call. Office doesn't open until 830 my appt at 830. Just let me have my rant, geez lol - they were wrong I was right. I have been a great patient, don't pentilize me when you don't have too .and this is a specialist they don't do deliveries. I also would have been patient in that scenario as I have many times as my main doc.

I wasn’t discounting your rant, I was simply commenting my opinion. I knew it wouldn’t be well received. Continue with your rant, that is your right..but keep in mind that you don’t always know the full scope of what’s going on in a doctors office on a daily basis. Best to give a bit of grace.

I'm familiar with everything you said and fact is it wasn't any of those scenarios in this case. I called, they didn't have an emergency, they annoy me in general.

Wow they want to be petty. Why couldn’t they just let you have your last damn visit? My doctors office is always late even when early by 15 mins like they suggest.
