Okay so I have a somewhat of a dumb question. So I've read that clomid can cause your opks to show a false positive, but how long after I finish my pills will they read correctly. They aren't positive but the are getting darker and I'm on my 4th pill. Im just a little confused. Thanks ladies.

I did Clomid for 7 cycles. You should avoid using OPKs till 4 days after your last pill as it can cause false positives as you mentioned.

So if you do CD 3-7 test on CD 11

Or CD 5-9 test on CD 13

Did your OBGYN not discuss with you what your protocols for you medicated cycles would be? I always alternated between 3-7 and 5-9 at the suggestion of our RE (Reproductive Endocrinologist)

You should never be testing with OPKS while actively taking the pills, always the time period after.

Definitely message me if you have questions ❤️

Good luck with the clomid! Is this your first time taking them? I’m starting them as soon as I have a period! It will be my 2nd time taking them

I’d start OPKs on CD 12 or 13
