Stupid question: When doing my baby shower thank you cards, do I write everything down they bought or just thank them…

Just a general thank you is good enough

Not everything but just maybe be specific with one item they gave you so if they gave you a onesie diapers and maybe a blanket just specified how lovely the blanket was and your little one sure loves it etc

I just did a general thank you for all a few really special items I personalized like a blanket a guests mom knitted for our girl just before she died.

I did for my thank you card I got three pics of the baby plus a thank you and printed them up with the Kodiak print centre and we paid for I think 40 for 60 prints out

I had someone write down what each person got me then used that as a reference in the thank you card. If it was multiple gifts I would thank them for the bigger items and comment something like the rest of the gifts were amazing, too. I feel it’s a nice personal touch when you acknowledge the effort that they put in.
