My dr told me not to stress over it. Just that I was feeling baby throughout the day. When I hadn’t felt him I would wake him up. But I had a very active little guy hah I don’t think you start feeling that much activity until you’re 27 or 28 weeks.

I think you'll get to learn your babies pattern, for me kick counting only made me paranoid if there was a slight change, you'll know if there is something wrong mothers instinct is strong, I wouldn't bother with the counting but it's whatever eases your mind chickie

It helps with my anxiety and overthinking about my baby’s moving. If there’s a certain time of day when you feel the most movements, try to do your kick counting around that time when your baby is likely to be awake. Just make sure you’re able to sit or lay in a position where you can relax and not be distracted by anything around you. I do it before I fall asleep at night, my baby is definitely a little insomniac like me lol. Keep cold water or juice with you, anything that gives your baby a boost. Definitely go with your instinct though, it can be soothing to dedicate a time of day where you’re only focused on your precious little baby and feeling their movements 😊 I was almost in disbelief that I was pregnant for a while, like it didn’t really hit me until I started feeling those kicks. Now it’s the best part of my day when I get to connect with my baby.

I don't kick count personally.. but my baby moves sooo much all the time and has been since like 24 weeks. When I wake up I usually pay attention to kicks since I can't feel her while I sleep but that's about it

@raerae2018, yes I agree after a while you start to learn my baby movies at around 8pm to 3 am and around 9 am , when I don’t feel it then I just drink something cold or warm or sweet

Honestly I kind of did because my baby is always moving

My doctor actually said they moved away from having expectant moms kick count because it produced unnecessary anxiety and said to instead just be aware of his movements and if I notice he's not as active as he usually is to give them a call
