Went to midwife and got checked and my blood pressure was 146/78 and I had traces of protein she retook my blood pressure about 10 minutes later and it had gone down to 131/73 she sent me home and told me to try and rest and not to worry since getting home My swelling has pretty much gone but now I’m feeling dizzy I don’t know if I’m over worrying but I just don’t feel right anyone else had any experience like this

Yeah I would definitely ask them if I where you I'd never even heard of it before I had the baby but in the end my swelling got worse and worse and it didn't go away till like 8 weeks after having him, but I had spots in my eyes and so many symptoms like yours but hopefully it is nothing fingers crossed xx

@tam96, that’s what they’ve said to me some swelling is normal but this was in my hands feet and face and lasted hours they also said the protein I had was discharge 🙄 I have a growth scan on Monday to check baby as she’s on the large side 😶 I’ll ask about the fluid around her I think they said it was normal last time. Yeah preeclampsia is like headaches rib pain and tunnel vision with swelling high blood pressure and protein in urine x

@jennypoulter I know it's horrible hoe they make you feel, they made me think it was normal to have swollen feet fingers and face, they kept checking me for preclampsia but I only had traces of protein once so they dismissed it as discharge, my blood pressure was high when I first got to hospital but then dropped so I was aloud to go home and my midwife sent me for a growth scan and they never picked up on anything until I was in labour and they said once my waters had gone I had to much fluid but they where still adamant it was preclampsia, do u see spots when you have that? Xx

I seen your post earlier on was ment to comment on it, I always felt like they told me it was normal, but anyway I've experienced the same thing as what your saying I woke up one morning and was saying my hands and feet felt tight and puffy it went away by the time I got the midwife but only for it to later on get worse I was diagnosed during labour with polyhdromosis xx

Could be preeclampsia, did midwife say that was a possibility? I had preeclampsia in my last two pregnancies so since 26 weeks iv been seeing midwife every two weeks to keep an eye on my BP and urine so far it's been fine xx
