Did you make the payment for Goods or as a Gift/Friends & Family? You have 'buyers protection' in case you don't receive the item or you recieve it and there is a problem.. if the money sent via Goods. Can I ask what the item is and what site you are buying from?

@olivia_monique you don't usually receive this msg when making a payment so it looks a little suspect to me 🤔

With people you don't know don't send money via Gift or Friends & Family as it's literally like you're gifting money for nothing in return and you will get no assistance from PayPal if anything goes wrong.

@olivia_monique Did you reply '2' for not authorised or contact PayPal customer service? From the msg you recieved it looks like PayPal flagged it and notified you as it seems suspicious!

Either way if you pay with PayPal and don’t receive the item. You can ring PayPal up and they’ll give your money back and find out what’s going on xx
