It is good to set goals and know your limits. Having kids can definitely set you back, but some parents also push through it. I am choosing to work less and focus on growing our family. I went down from working 120 hours to 25-30 hours every to weeks. Huge pay cut that now my SO has to compensate. Sometimes it makes me sad, not being able to grow career wise but i have time to do that once we are done having kids and they are in school. One day, someday.

@rndmshtt, I agree it’s great to set goals . And I could have postponed my career to grow my family but I’m comfortable in our routine right now and how we’re doing financially so , I sacrificed having more babies for a little. Don’t get me wrong tho, i envy all the mamas who can stay home and raise their little ones , while still being financially comfortable.

@domsmama96, Haha yeah i dont know how other women can be SAHM. That is hard work physically and mentally! I definitely know i want to keep working if i could. I dont know if i could be a SAHM, id probably go insane 😭 What are you in school for? Thats awesome that you are still doing it with a toddler!

@domsmama96, Thats awesome! I have a couple friends who are teachers. I admire their schedule. Theyre at work while their kids are in school &’ also they are able to spend their summers with their family.

Planning on going back to school and I only have 1 little girl who just turned 4 years old, also being a stay at home mom is the best. But no more kids from me. Until another 3 years.
