Can't remember with Noah but do you think the midwife will let me hear heartbeat at my 16 week app?

Mine offered at our 15 week appointment and there was no reason for it it is get me, so they certainly have the option to do it xx

Some midwifes won't. Apparently now they don't have to try and listen to the heartbeat until later on. Due to not always being able to find it and causing distress.

My midwife listened to babies heartbeat at just over 14wks! But she stressed not to panic if she couldn't find it

I had my 16 week midwife appointment yesterday. Got to Listen to heartbeat 💓 but she did say its not protocol anymore to offer it at this stage and if couldn't find it they wouldn't refer me for a scan... God not very reassuring that though is it! Hopefully ul get to hear ur baby! Good luck xx

@claired aww thank you! Yeah I think that sounds familiar to when I had my son. Always nice to try have a bit of reasurrance though so fingers crossed it's not hiding lol. Xx
