Getting my membranes swept Monday last i was checked I was 5cm 80% effaced. Anyone have any experience going into labor shortly after having it done? Is it painful?

@wolfe1134, yes dilated 2, 50% effaced. Think positive and hopefully you will get similar results. Thank you 😊
@hotrodfjg, had you been dilated before you had it done? And I’m hoping it works out like that for me I’ve been having contractions since last Tuesday. congratulations on your baby girl.
Dr did my sweep at 10am Monday and timetable contractions started by 10pm that night. Baby arrived at 9:14am Tuesday morning 😄 It was not pleasant to have done! I said I wouldn’t have another done if it didn’t work 🙅🏻♀️ And your uterus will be irritable for an hour or so after and it’s painful. Well it was for me anyway...Good luck to you!
