@cams what's iugr he says height wise I'm short so he not to worried bit he is measuring two weeks behind

@cutie22, sounds like you may have IUGR. They may take him earlier. What does your doc say?

@cams o ok thanks I'm worried he is only 2pounds 11oz and I'm 30 months

The steroids should be given in 2 sessions to help mature the baby’s lungs. Nothing to do with weight. Weekly appts will most likely be to monitor baby’s progress.

I had to get steroid shots two of them my doctor told me it was to make sure my sons lungs where strong enough if he was to come early, I came back positive for preterm labor that’s why he had me do it
