What type of food do you guys serve at your kids’ birthday parties? My daughter turns two in a week and we’re having her party indoors at a hotel. We plan to have around 50 people there and I don’t want to spend a ton of money on food. I’m thinking Sloppy Joes, A big pan on baked beans, chips, A salad bar. But what else?

I usually get catering bc I fucking hate cooking, especially for a big crowd. For my daughters 1st bday we got Zoe’s kitchen catered (chicken and steak roll ups, pasta salad, Greek salad, and a fruit tray) and for her 2nd bday I’ll probably get a taco/nacho bar catered from Moes or something
Pizza lol cheap and easy, $20 for a Sheet I should do to
We always do chilli and those trays of banquet Mac n cheese. Cheese and fruit platters.
Hot dogs and hamburgers are cheap and easy to make. Pizzas, or soups would be good too. O always make sure there are plenty of chips, cookies, fruit/trays so people kinda get full on that instead of making a pig out of the main course.
We had pizza's, wings, breadsticks, chicken, chips and dips, veggie trays, potato, macaroni, and taco salads.
