I feel like such a bad mom when I get frustrated with Haisleigh. She is just such a difficult baby at night and I'm beyond exhausted. I bottle feed her (my breast milk) so there's no reason why she should act like she's still hungry because she's not.. She does all the signs that she is but when I try to give her more she just starts freaking out again. I don't know what to do to calm her sometimes. I walk around, rock her, try to give her the pacifier, put her in her swing. Nothing seems to help. I knew being a mom was hard work but I didn't kmow how much it would make you feel like a failure sometimes. She's a totally different baby during the day. Calm, sleeps well, happy. I just don't get it

Never a failure. You have to take day by day. It gets better, I know how frustrating it gets. Sometimes you have to sit the baby down go in another room and take a few deep breaths, then go back and keep trying. Good luck!

@arianna.spring thank you for that. I hate that I even have to do that. We tried so hard to have a baby and I told myself I was never going to be the parent to get frustrated but that's so much easier said than done.

I know the feeling. I struggled with my daughter, and still do sometimes. You’re not a failure, you’re trying your best. One thing I’ve found that worked for my daughter was playing the Baby Lullaby station on Pandora at night. It plays calming songs and I would sing along sometimes to her. It helped calm her down at night. Don’t give up hope Momma. I hope you find something that works for you and her

Sounds like she's got an upset tummy. Gas Drops like gripe water help, warm rag, lay her tummy on your leg.. hubby did that and it calmed our daughter. Good luck.

My first baby was like this. He was very colicky. He was an angel during the day and would cry all night, no matter what I did. I would cry with him most nights. It got better by about 3 months. Try to take a nap during the day when she's happy. I know you have a million other things to do but naps definitely helped keep me sane during that frustrating time. And keep telling yourself it gets better!
