Had an emergency appointment today with my OB. Gestational and yolk sacs were seen, I’m about 6 weeks. The IUD was no where to be found, but I never felt it come out, so I have another ultrasound next week to see if we can find the IUD and make sure baby is growing.
I instinctively called baby Nugget, and instantly wanted chicken nuggets for dinner, lol. Guess it heard me!

I am seeing way too many of these stories lately, they say an IUD is supposed to be like 99% effective but imm calling BS...hope it fell out or they find it!

@roth1321, I don’t do well with pills, so this was the best option after having my son. This was my second one. I had the ParaGuard first and was hemorrhaging to the point that I needed to take iron every time I got my period or it would look like someone beat me. I was doing great with this one, until now

I have the paragard, I still freak out of it traveling somewhere or getting pregnant. I'm more careful around my ovulation days.

@roth1321, I got pregnant with my daughter when I had my IUD. I had it removed and didn’t know I was pregnant till a month after having it removed!

@lizibear84, yikes! I’m just hoping my husband will get a vasectomy so I don’t have to worry about this, I also am not a fan of pills, or birth control in general really, it really messes me up emotionally.

@inked_mommy92, I’m telling ya, I hear it a lot, I honestly think the FDA should look into this. I wonder how many people are having unplanned pregnancy as result!

@roth1321, Unfortunately for them to do that there would need to be more than just a few cases here and a few cases there. 🙁 plus they don’t care as long as they’re making money.. without insurance to have one put in is over a grand! Luckily I had insurance.. but I don’t trust birth control at all. They even gave me pills to take as an extra precaution because I was swapping from depo to the IUD so at the time I was on 3 different forms of BC and I used a condom and still got pregnant. My best friend got pregnant on the pill. Her and I were actually taking the same pill! 🤣 we no longer trust BC.
