7 years ago I went in to the doctor to tell them I had taken 3 tests and they were all positive.. I was scared to death but I was ready. I got my ultrasound and I was pregnant but no heartbeat I was so crushed because we had literally just lost everything we had. That was the one thing holding me together. I immediately had to have a dnc because there had been no heartbeat for a few days. Turns out I have rh negative blood and it was attacking the baby like it was a foreign object. I think this is why I am so excited yet nervous to conceive. Reason for this post is I want to warn everyone about how important going to the doctor is when you think you may be pregnant.. had I not ignored the warning signs I’d have a son or daughter with me right now. Never shared this before and if you have had something similar please reach out

I have rh-bliod as well. I haven't lost a baby but I'm having trouble conceiving my second baby.

@nitarose070793, are you negative or positive with your rh factor? Have you gotten a immunoglobulin shot?

@ekagle32 I can't remember. I had to get my organ shot while I was pregnant and IDK if I got one after I had her.

Oh! They usually give it to you at like 28 weeks and then after birth. That may be why I’m having trouble

@ekagle32 maybe I'd talk to the ob. If you have a miscarriage they are suppose to give you another shot.

I am as well a RH negative, and mine blood type is A negative, and it took me 7years to get pregnant with my son and I am blessed and thankful I didn’t lose him. It’s been 1year now trying to conceive second bundle of joy.
I am truly sorry😞, for your loss.
