When did y’all stop turning your babies in the night when they rolled to their belly? My sons been…

I think if he’s rolling on his own n his good control of his head and neck and his face is not head first in the mattress and can re roll on to his back he shld be ok - just my opinion

I stopped with Natalie she won’t stay on her back or side anymore she just rolls over to her stomach I just check on her occasionally because she has this horrible habit of putting her face down right into the mattress but most of the time she has her face to the side.

I don’t turn them unless they’re crying. My reflux baby is tummy sleeper anyway.

I stopped a few weeks after he started rolling. There was no point...I'd roll him to his back and he'd be on his tummy again before I left the room. So, at 4/5 months? His pediatrician said that once they can roll themselves they're able to control their bodies well enough that if there ever was a problem they'd be able to correct it on their own, and that it's not like I could keep him on his back if he wanted to roll.

@michellemybell09, yeah Jordan likes to fall asleep with something on his face . Like I’ll have to rock him and his face has to be like embedded in my chest or my hand has to like be on his face kinda . But once he’s out he’s fine with that . I watched him roll one time and he doesn’t do that. But I had that worry too.

@briannalynn547, that’s our jobs as mothers to worry but have faith he would be ok if he’s master rolling let him sleep how ever he’s comfy . I noticed when Lily would sleep in her tummy she sleeps better she’s more comfy but I always place her on her back . And we use a light blanket also . I know bad mom right . I watched her and I trust her ability to roll and if the blanket goes over her head she scream bc of the darkness . I mean it’s cold out and she’s comfy and it helps . So just trust your gut

@alishap1212, he uses a light little blanket too and a small teddy 😬 he’s like me , I need it even if it’s 600 degrees lol

@briannalynn547, I agree I think it’s so sad . We live in New York it’s going to be winter it’s cold . Last year I was worried bc she was swallowed. This year she needs a blanket even with the heat n fleece pjs I feel bad . I would never do something to harm her and I know you are the same
