i seriously feel like im going to have a panic/anxiety attack when i get my c section 😭😭

I had to have an emergency one for my first son and now will have to probably have to have one for this baby to if I don't succee with a VBAC... i totally understand what you mean the thought of getting cut while awake scares the crap out of me!!

Don't watch videos on YouTube! I think the worst part for me is just needing help with everything I wasn't able to bend so my husband had to like help me with everything, I'm not sure how this worked for everyone but a belly wrap was my best friend and I feel like it really helped with pain.... I'm sure your going to do great and everything will go awesomely!!! Best of luck to you❣

I agree, don't watch videos! I Just had my first emergency c-section and it's really not terrible. You just feel pressure. I was more scared of the epidural than anything. Getting little one out goes by super quick it's just when they're stitching you back up it takes a little while but you're so distracted by little one it keeps your mind occupied. You'll be fine! Just think it's only temporary and it will be over soon

Me too! But i know it’s only scary until it begins. Then i would say- I worried for nothing, nurses doctors and anesthesiologist will make sure you’re alright, especially the anesthesiologist will always be by your side.

@myriahboyett710 i watched videos already 😭 and i didnt even think about the stitches. 😔 I just have veryyy bad anxiety. I just need to not think about it.

I would just not think about it or look it up. I was talking to my dr during mine, sure I was nervous but it really wasn't that bad. Did you have one with your first?

@julyfourthbaby, I have to be there at 930am and surgery starts at 12 which having to get fluids for 2 hours is so damn anxiety ridden 😂 I don’t even know why I’m panicking my last c section everything went so well took about 40 minutes total from the minute I walked in to being in recovery I just think about all the bad things that could happen

@alyboo102293 oh gosh i can only imagine those 2 hours 😭and its going to go good! I cant tell you not to be nervous bc i am like asf. But you get to meet your baby!! Ill be thinking of you tomorrow😊

@julyfourthbaby yeah, no need to freak yourself out. My doctor stitched me from the outside and just put glue over my scar, if that makes sense. Like I don't have any viewable stitches. I promise it's not that bad. The healing is the most difficult.

If you truly feel this way, can you discuss them giving you something mild for your anxiety? Before the procedure that is.

@julyfourthbaby, I think I would feel similar and understand :). The idea of being cut open while awake would get to me.
