So I took an extra shift today at work. Well now I’m thinking this was a bad idea. I think I’m having contractions!!! && I’m all alone. Except for the 2 clients we have, but they are asleep in their room. I’m 38 weeks 5 days! I’m hoping it’s just false contractions as I at least want to finish this pay period (Wednesday night) since I don’t have paid maternity leave. What I’ll be receiving while I’m out is the PTO I’ve managed to saved up since learning that I was expecting. Should I call in my coworker and head to the hospital to get checked out ladies? This is baby #3 so I should remember what they feel like but I’ve been experiencing strong Braxton Hicks since very early so I really think these might be the real thing?? I attached a pic of my contraction timer. Thoughts?? Baby is still moving a lot...

I don’t think that’s quite close enough. I’d give it a bit longer before going to the ER

I think it’s too soon to head in. They recommend 3-5 minutes apart for 2 hrs —- and I still got sent home!!!! I would take off work though and relax. I was frustrated and asked when I’m supposed to come In then because if I follow their instructions I’d be right back there— she said when the pain gets more intense and they are getting stronger and stronger 😡. It’s frustrating, but hang in there! Unless your water breaks or you don’t get your kick counts of course!

So I did wait to go in. And barely came in around 4p. Well turns out my blood pressure is high and they are inducing me tonight 😣 I’m soo scared y’all!
