I’m debating if I should put Noah in his big boy bed again starting tomorrow....I’m so nervous because of what happened last time....😞😞😞 my plan was to put the pack and play up also JUST Incase. Guys it was so bad that I put his crib back after 5 days because he was losing sleep...it was so so so so so bad. I was going to put the pack and play up Incase I need to put him in it but idk what to do...we can’t take the crib down and put it back up over and over again....

Why do you need him in a big boy bed already? If it’s that bad then he’s obviously not ready. Just keep him in his crib. We kept our daughter in her crib until she was 2.5 and had no problems when it came time to transition to a twin bed. Maybe he just needs more time

@2sweetie, I don’t NEED him in his toddler bed. My thing is he hardly ever sleeps in his crib 90% of the time he’s in my bed and sleeps better in my bed. Before he comes to bed with me he’s constantly whining and crying because he body slams the walls of his crib...the first time we did this it was WAY too soon. He had just turned 1 so he was too little but now he’s almost 2 and at school he’s in the baby room but he sleeps on a mat not in the pack and play and he does fine.

@bubbys.mommy, oh I see. It sounds like you need to sleep train him first. If he’s not already sleeping independently in a crib, then he may not want to sleep independently in a big boy bed. He wants to sleep with you. Maybe try sleep training him in his crib first and after a few months then transition him to his big boy bed.

@2sweetie, idk how to sleep train 😭😭 hard part is...my living situation leaves his crib 5 ft away from my bed so he stands there and cries staring at me 😭😭😭

@bubbys.mommy, hmmm I don’t know how to sleep train if he’s in the same room as you. Maybe make a post asking for suggestions from moms that have done it?
