He never takes a bottle at midnight but he still always wakes up its like clockwork every night. So…

That's how you know he is getting ready to sleep through a bit longer. Once he isn't hungry it's just habit waking him then give him water or a soother or play a bit of music to soothe him and eventually he will stop waking up at that time. Think of it as a tiny bit of progress and less of an inconvenience. My son didnt start sleeping through the bite til 10 months and he transitioned this way

@laura.lorentsen33 Yea he's been doing that for quite some time now, waking up and not eating and he hasn't stopped

@odin.mathias.18 it can take awhile to make a full transition and yu have to be patient no matter how badly you just want to walk away and go get some sleep somewhere you just got to keep pushing and one day you will wake up expecting him to want something and he will sleep right through

@laura.lorentsen33 it's getting worse you were wrong it wasn't a sign he's getting ready to sleep a bit longer hes waking up more at night now so there is no progress and my son won't be transitioning this way, congrats yours did though, mine never does anything good

@odin.mathias.18 that's a really bad attitude to have a bout it and not necessarily true. It still took over 3 months once he wasnt hungry to get him sleeping through the night. NOTHING comes quickly with babies it all just takes time and patience which I know you probably hate to hear because I know I did when I was frustrated and sleep deprived, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel.....its just a really really long ass tunnel
