Im crying as I’m typing this.
Im crying as I’m typing this.
I’ve been crying all day. My SO works Monday-Friday 9-5pm.
I’m a stay at home mom who has a newborn and a 5 year old daughter.
I find myself always starving because my newborn is always crying. I’ve done everything I can and possible to calm him but he’s only calm when he’s in my arms.
I do it all at home...I’m trying to prove I’m super girl when I know I’m not. My SO has offered to get me help for me and the kids but I feel like I let him down since I can’t get it under control. I fee like a complete failure.

Sounds like you might be dealing with a little PPD. Believe I’ve been there, once you ask for help and accept it, it makes things so much easier for you. ❤️

Your not a failure love!
Sometimes you just need help.
When our little guy with special needs came along I had to accept that it couldn’t all be done alone. We had to have a home care nurse come in to help so I could have time to spend with the other kids ❤️
Your super woman for trying and doing your best and that’s all the universe can ask of you.
Your never alone ❤️

You aren’t a failure doll. Your best IS good enough. We all need help and no one can do it all alone.
Please get the help especially since it’s offered to you.
Also, try baby wearing, if you aren’t already. It’ll at least free up your hands.

I just have to say I felt this exact same way!!! I started wearing my baby, almost the whole day. It changed my life! I could eat, clean, and nap with him on me. Don’t be discouraged!! It gets easier

I’m in your exact shoes but with a toddler , try getting the moby wrap and use it u will be able to move around the house with wearing the baby it’s a life saver ... I don’t like to ask for help either cause I feel like it should all be done by me .. I do have ppd and I’m able to talk to someone ..

He doesn't need to get you help - HE needs to help! I know he works 40h/wk but theres things he can do to help you. Having a newborn isnt the time to prove yourself. Everything will get better you just need some support right now 💌

One was a breeze! Two is a handful!! Your not a failure at all, love. Just remember to take care of YOU first so you can take care of them. 💜💜

I totally understand how you feel. My second was a HARD baby. He cried for hours and barely slept. My husband was gone 14+ hours a day, and I felt like i was losing it. I had to enlist my parents for help, and I felt like a failure. But I promise you, NO ONE expects you to do it alone, and you don’t get a medal for doing it either. Do whatever makes you the best mom for your babies. Hang in there!! I promise it gets easier.

It's okay to admit you're struggling and it's okay to ask for help. You're juggling A LOT right now so be gentle with yourself. As long as you're doing your best, that's all that matters. Accept any help that is offered because your mental health is very important and people really truly do want to help. Hang in there and take it one day at a time. Message me anytime as I'm going through something similar.

After having a conversation with My SO I decided to just get the help. Starting off with 3x a week so I’m not upset about that :)
