Has anyone had experiences where you were referred to a high risk specialist and was admitted to the hospital the same day of said appointment?

@rndmshtt, my ob wouldn’t tell me much she was in and out told me my daughter is in the 3rd percentile and says poor fetal growth and antepartum and said I need to travel to see a high risk doctor so I see the high risk dr on Tuesday
@kyra.mcdonald9, Oh no! When is your appointment? Have they talked to you about what you can do or what might possibly happen? 34 weeks is quite early! I had a friend whose baby was born 3 months early. He was and is such a fighter. These days you cant even tell that he was a preemie!
@rndmshtt, I have a feeling I might be I’m 34 weeks and my daughter isn’t growing and was told possibility of delivering early
@rndmshtt, good to know the worst thing is to unpack which I would be okay with.
@kyra.mcdonald9, Just have one spare clothing for you and your husband just incase. Also have like travel toothpaste and toothbrush. The rest the hospital should provide if you need it.
After that incident, i always have a bag packed and ready. You just never know.
@rndmshtt, yeah it’s 30 mins away so I’m trying to figure out if I should pack or not
@kyra.mcdonald9, no haha we just thought would be a regular checkup with my highrisk, the usual vaginal ultrasound. then that happened so we ran around target 😖🤣 because our house was an hour away from my highrisk office and my highrisk dr lives out of state so they had to refer me to another dr that was in a different hospital like 30 minutes away! we were so confused and nervous.
