Every morning when I drop my daughter off she screams and cries saying she doesn’t want to go, this is her second week and usually she warms up to daycares after a few days and is excited about going. Not this one. This morning she cried saying I’m scared but when I asked why she said idk. Yesterday she told me a child hit her and I told the director and she said she will investigate. What do you ladies think about the screaming and crying ? It’s really stressing me.

I would change her daycare or don’t send her something is probably up

My son did that for a few weeks. I’d say just ride it out and I think it’s pretty normal. But I would def make sure that the hitting is looked into. I know it’s stressful. It was for me too. But now my son is happy to go to school.

I agree with @danielleramirez933 something is wrong there and whether it be mean kids or something else like mean teachers or other things, if she's that upset then there's a big reason for it and she shouldn't go there anymore

@danielleramirez933, I’ve been looking but same thing could happen at the next and we’ll just be going from daycare to daycare. I wanna set up a meeting with the teachers and director.

Do u suspect something is really going on or that she just wants to stay with u? I know with my son he just wanted to stay with me and nothing bad was going on at his school. If u have a bad feeling about the daycare and you’re not comfortable with your daughter there then I’d say continue to look for a new one. My earlier comment was just based on my experience with my son

@ss3mom, Well she had stayed home with me for about 6 months before I started this job. It could be that she just wants to be with me, it could be that something is going on. I don’t want to just think that she just wants to be with me when something is really going on. I get good vibes from the teachers though. If anything the kids are probably really mean to her.

@lovebeingamom, awe I’m so sorry to hear that. I’d talk to the teachers and see how she does after u leave. With my son he would cry for like 2-3mins after I left then he was totally fine the rest of the day. Hopefully nothing is going on but u will need to check on that. Good luck
