any of you mommies got the flu shot while pregnant? need some more opinions on if I should get it…

A lot of women do get it and even doctors recommend it but i wouldn't get it while pregnant

I've never ever got it and don't want too, but I'm leaning towards it just because I'm having a winter baby and it's suppose to be bad this year

My son, husband and I all ended up having the flu while I was pregnant with our daughter. Worst experience ever! My kids and I are getting it this week to help prevent, like angelfoodcake said it’s suppose to be a bad flu season this year and I don’t need any of us sick when new baby arrives 😬

No we dont do flu shots in this house.

Also out of 5 pregnancies only 1 dr has suggested it and no they dont know we dont vax its just not been suggested

I've gotten every single one of my pregnancies (all 9) all was well got it at 35wks this time and dont regret it, flu is nothing to play with especially a baby being born in fall and winter to many people and children died last year cause of it and YES its supposed to be bad this year with a new strain

I got it with my first and this time

I got it with both my girls. All my family members got it as well. The more I can do to protect my baby the better!

I got it while pregnant with my second. It actually protects baby against it as well. My first got it in November or December of last year and my baby was 1-2 months old and she didn’t catch it. I was also breastfeeding too so both were contributing factors!
