Last night I had a scare. I had been having what I thought was discharge, but it got to be watery and frequent for a few days. And all day yesterday she hardly moved. By evening I felt like something was wrong because she always moves after dinner even if she has a lazy day. I checked my OB's handbook and leaking clear watery fluid and decreased fetal movement was one sentence under 'call immediately'. So I called and the on call OB told me to come in right away. They checked her heart rate, monitored me for contractions since I had some last week, and did a swab. Then the OB did an ultrasound he said the fluid levels looked good and she was moving. The swab was too dry to test for amniotic fluid. He said that didn't mean that I didn't have a small leak that resolved itself. He said to rest, hydrate and so on. I was so scared, but I feel better now though. They told me to be vigilant and check myself and to come back if it happens again. Only being 20 weeks means the baby can't survive on her own so I am taking it easy and drinking tons of water and staying positive that everything is going to be ok. Luckily today she is much more active which helps my nerves. This little girl is giving me gray hair and she isn't even out yet. 🤦♀️

She’s prepping you for when she is finally here, keeping you on your toes. I’m glad everything was okay though! Hopefully everything stays smooth sailing for you🤗

I hope she stops scaring you like that and you have an easy pregnancy going forward! 🙏🏻❤️

I’m curious about your discharge. I’m having a ton of it but I don’t know what’s normal and what’s not. I can’t really feel much movement except for the occasional, random kicks so I can’t rely on that as a tracking method.

@emmaduemarch2019, yeah I have a hard time with it too, TMI usually its thick and white ish then it became like water and clear. Also no smell, so clear and no smell and like water were all warning signs for them to check. I felt bad for them not finding anything but they told me not to because its better safe than not knowing
