I had a small tear and I’m 3.5 weeks post partum and it’s still not 100%. Witch hazel pads help me a lot and take it VERY easy. Don’t push yourself.. it will get better eventually!

@patrycjalai, I’ve been using warm water and I feel like it agitates it so maybe I’ll switch to cold!

Use the squirt bottle everytime you go to the bathroom. Cold water feels amazing.

If you know you will need to move around a lot - use Dermaplast. My doctor send me home with 3 cans and it was dreamy.

@cambertaylor94, it will help. If you have the shower head where you can take off, and hold, I use that to spray when I’m in the shower.

@cambertaylor94, yeah it is. You just have to take it easy. I don’t know if they recommended for you to take a warm bath, with nothing in the water, but that does help the healing.

I’m 17 days pp, and I’m still not 100%. I had a 3rd degree tear though.
