Update, we ended up at Er cause he wasn't eating or drinking. It was so hard to see him in pain, he's much better now.
He had a sore throat after his fever went away. Now mommas sick lol
Advice please?
My 8.5 month old has been running a fever since about 3pm (10/20). He's was give infant motrin at 7 ish and then around now.. Without Google advice, when at what point is it a hospital matter?
Highest was 102 with my cousin, he's been sleepy. He's really warm to touch, no sweat. He's drinking just fine, eating normally.
Right now he's at a 100-101

What is the temperature? Is he taking his milk okay? Fussy? I would say urgent care if he has a temp over 102' ...Cool bath ,cool towel on his feet,diaper and maybe a light shirt,,blankets and clothes keep the fever in...a nurse told me this

When my daughter had a fever around your sons age they told me to always start with tylenol and keep switching until the fever breaks. Once it wears off try to give him some tylenol. And if the fever doesnt break in 24 hours take him in or if his symptoms get worse take him in.

Give it 24-48 hours unless it goes above 102. Good luck I'm sure he will get a cold after it. It's going around

Dd always gets a high fever and is burning hot. Only thing that gets it down/keeps it down is alternating Tylenol and Motrin. Hope your lo is better soon. Trust your gut. It could be a bug, ear infection, bladder infection or something else. Remember you know your baby better then anyone and your his voice.
