Breastfeeding mamas:::
I’m need of some good advice and words of encouragement. I feel like I am not producing enough milk my girl is feeding it seems like every hour. I know her weight gain is good and they say your body makes as much as the baby will eat but I feel like her feeds should be more stretched out now? We are almost 3 weeks exclusive so I could just be overthinking it? I’m looking for any breastfeeding stories or words of wisdom! I want to keep this going for at least 6 months and really have no one that breastfeeds around me to help me out! Thanks 💕
The best advice I can give you is get someone else to help with cooking and cleaning and just focus on nursing. Feed your baby whenever and for however long she wants. Pick out some good shows on Netflix that you can watch and just get comfy with your baby. Since you have a toddler as well, try carrying baby in a sling or other carrier so she can sleep on you or have friends/relatives come over that can help tend to him. It gets better don’t worry.
Cluster feeding can last for a while it can be exhausting but hang in there mommas :))
Mother's milk tea work wonders for me and make sure you eat good drink lots of water and take your vitamins ,, I'm pretty sure you're doing awesome momma's you keep on breastfeeding don't give up momma's you got it !!!:)(
@readyforhalloween I believe that’s what’s happening right now! I’m trying to tell myself one more day it could start getting normal again 🤣
Cluster feeding is when she feeds for like 5 hours straight when they do that it's when they're telling your body to produce more milk
@2sweetie, it’s so hard because I don’t have much family where I am so it’s just my fiancé and I and occasionally my Gma when I visit her. But I have been trying to focus on nursing and pumping to get my milk supply up. I do have a baby K’tan carrier Leftover from when I had my son I haven’t even thought of using that!! Thank you :)
