Does anyone have Hashimoto's thyroiditis? I was diagnosed with it about one month before I got pregnant. It's not even been fully assessed in me, but since I've been pregnant my thyroid has started to degrade faster. Apparently this is the cause of my severe fatigue, morning sickness and dizziness. Honestly it's making my life so horrible and this pregnancy is the hardest thing I've ever had to force myself through
Hi, I have Hashimoto and now I have a 9 month old. Pregnancy was tough for me too but honestly now that I have the baby it seems easier! Your thyroid will not worsen due to pregnancy but the dosage will go up. Do monitor it every 6 to 9 weeks. The dosage should usually stay constant after week 13. Hashimoto being an auto immune disease will ease up a bit during pregnancy since the immune functions are restrained. Fatigue can be killing; it was for me too but I don’t think it is particularly linked to thyroid issues. Hope you find some relief. Also check your Vita D levels.
