Do you get paid maternity leave in Georgia?

Omg I feel the same! I literally gave a customer a blank stare the other day because what she was complaining about made zero sense. And her complaining wasn’t going to change the situation 🤦🏽‍♀️

@kmsespy paid maternity leave it's not a state law thing from my understanding... fmla is mandatory in all states as long as the company has a certain amount of employees and you're been employed for 1 year or more. Although FMLA is not paid. Just leave at 12 weeks.

I'm Not getting paid because I'm consider temp at my job as I just started may . But my company actually pays 12 weeks full pay for permanent employees 😯

@itsshalisa You got a long way to go sista lol , but I feel yeah. I've been agitated this whole pregnancy, really. 2nd trimester wasn't too bad.

@angelfoodcake, oh yeah I don’t need to use Fmla because my jobs protected, so it’s unpaid but they’ll pay my health insurance for a month. I know there is for sure a few states that provide paid maternity leave I just forgot if that was Georgia. Had to look it up. 😅

You must work for a large company if they provide any kind of paid maternity for full time employees!

The company I work for (in GA) pays for both maternity leave and paternity leave. Which is great , but not for me because I'm done having babies 😭😭 I wish I would have gotten paid time just once, out of 5 pregnancies lol.
