Health Insurance for kid from dad
So I have decided to move to Arkansas from California. My son's father and I are not together but he's on board with me and my son moving.
My home life is getting tough and California has gotten too expensive.
My son is insured through his dad from his job. Would he still be eligible for coverage out of state?
I am through my dad since I'm under 26 and he's currently out of state so I know it's possible but would it just depend on his insurance ?

You'd have to find a doctor that takes the insurance. Call the insurance company to see what to do. My dd has insurance through my ex husband but it's tricare through the military so it wasnt that hard when I moved. The hard part was making sure her different doctors take it.

Yea like pp said. My kid is here in Ohio has dad insurance he’s in Illinois. Finding a hospital mite be better.
